Creepy basement noises...

Today I sought out the eerie noise emanating from the laundry room. Random beeping flooded the basement, and crept up the stairs to my unaware ears. When I arose to investigate, the hollow sound ceased.

Based on my philosophy that if something stops or goes away, you can forget about it, I sat in a chair downstairs and innocently watched television
