I read (and loved!) Christopher Moore's A Dirty Job while I was stuck in Georgia. I think I'll pick up a couple more of his books based on your recommendation. :-)

His books are incredibly wonderful. They are so funny that I found myself stopping people at work and reading chapters aloud to them.

You know, I was thinking the other day, maybe when I win the lottery, I come back to NY and we can open up another restaurant. Then we wouldn't have to work our stupid corporate jobs any more. I do very much miss the Sunday brunches, and the open mic nights and everything.

That would be so much fun! It would be all the more fun if we didn't have to worry about actually making any money doing it. ;-)

I see chef Jimmy all the time in my store and he asks about you. I really miss the whole Sunday brunch philosophical discussion thingy we had going.
