['Use this.' If it only it were so simple. Austria is hardly stupid, but this device has certainly outwitted him. He can play some of the most complex compositions in history, but he simply cannot work his fingers around this modern technology. The buttons are too small, the interface unintuitive and he cannot figure out how to type in lower case ( Read more... )

Is there a problem? I should like to know how to return home.

Wouldn't we all? Unfortunately this world seldom likes to surrender its captives.

Do we 'captives' serve any purpose for our captors [Whoever they are..], or is our only goal to evade death?

[... Wow, there are a lot of countries popping up. France isn't sure if want especially in Austria's case I mean really a picture or a recording of his playing would have sufficed and yet it's somehow ... slightly mildly relieving to know he isn't the only one being tormented here.

Wow France.

No, no, he doesn't want anyone to have to deal with all this, even if they are handsome and elegant and pretentious bastards.]

Bonjour Autriche! I am sorry to say but there is little any of us, including yourself, can do about this present situation!

[Yeah he can definitely feel the love, France.]

You sound too cheerful! [Yes he is the fun police why do you ask. THEN SWITCHING TO ENGLISH BECAUSE HONESTLY FRENCH LEAVES A BAD TASTE IN HIS MOUTH:] Where are you currently located?

[ew English] Speak German, it sounds better on you!

What, Autriche, would you have me greet you rudely? This place is a stinking hellhole out of some freakish twist between Amerique's horror films and European lore. [He'll be depressing and blunt, but he'll do it with style. :| ]

Find shelter if you don't want something to rip you to shreds.

... Oh! I am in Discedo.

Fine.

A rude greeting would clash less with the situation you so brilliantly describe. [Austria is likewise concerned with style. He possibly needs to reconsider his priorities, but no matter. :|] Besides, I believe a greeting does not necessarily need to be either cheerful or rude. There are many options. [This is a completely useless conversation. He blames France.]

I will, shortly.

I'm gonna assume you got the run down, so I won't bother repeating myself. Just make sure you find cover. If you hear polite sounding robots, run for cover.

[ Was it the in-thing to name your kid after a country? Terry just tried his best to ignore it. ]

If they ask you "are you still there", don't answer.

[Prussia is audibly torn between amusement and disgust. Because it's Austria (and the male one, at that, who is probably just as annoying as the female) who is... well, Austria. But he's also lost. Which is always entertaining.]

You've been kidnapped and there's no way back. Have fun.

Thank you, your assistance has been invaluable. [His voice probably couldn't get any drier. Pausing.] Your accent is unusual, might I ask where you are from? Originally, of course.

[Königsberg? She sounds quite young, assuming she means to say she was born in the city before it was turned over to the Russians.

Unless - ah. He remembers Germany's words, that not all the persons here are from 2011.]

You are Prussian. [It's more a statement than a question. It certainly explains her accent.]

So the selection process is random, or does it follow some predefined pattern?
