So I got a... semi-job-ish? Mind Games district manager called and asked if I wanted to work. Co-worker gave her my number sometime last week, was why, when they asked him to work in the warehouse.

Me: Yus. o_o
Her: When are you available?
Me: ANYTIME ;_______;
Her: ...Today?
Me: Sure, what time?
Her: What time can you get here ( Read more... )

ah first off, grats on getting your job! (even if it's still part time) hopefully you get a more permanent one! *figners crossed*

About the cat though, don't assume it's loneliness? it might sometimes be anxiety or she's just asking for attention since she's still such a young kitty. Also, not all cats get along. Even some dogs don't and I think cats can be a bit more antisocial so another cat might not help? (i don't think it'll help if it was anxiety related)

If you're still going for a long haired cat, take note that they do take more work to maintain (e.g. regular grooming, resigning your carpet to forever have fur, accept the fact that most of your clothes will have some fur on them)

Sorry if I'm being a wet blanket! D: I've had experience with a housemate who thought getting another dog would help with her current dog's anxiety but they ended up being the most noisy bunch of dogs ever...

Thank you!

How would I be able to tell anxiety from loneliness? D: She's usually pretty calm, I think? She just sleeps around all day. But she does seem a bit scared of strangers and such sometime...

I think she does get along with other cats, though. Two previous foster homes she was in had cats, and she loved them, which was mainly why I wonder if I should get her another cat. Sometimes I wonder if she misses them, is why?

Yeah, I'm still on the fence about the long hair dealie. XD But they're so pretty! Mine sheds a lot already, though. She likes laying on my coat, too, and she has a white belly, and... uh, I have a black coat. >.>;;; Actually, weirdly enough, she seems to mainly shed white fur, which is in a layer under her black fur. (Or maybe just the white shows up more.)

It's okay. I should make sure I understand everything before doing it, anyway. And wait for the excitement to wear off so I'm not doing it because of excitement.

Having a job sounds fantastic! Even if it's partpartparttime.

Yeah! But what's not fantastic is looking for a job while working. So exhausting. ;_;

$19 for teaching kids to play with toys? I could take that, too. xD But anyways, congrats for this job.
And... a random thought, but I so hate using busses in other countries. Always there's some little catch that makes the unsuspecting traveler totally confused and leaves her stranded... *muttermutter* xD

I know, right? XD I really want it.

Yeah. ;_________; And bus routes are so confusing when you're not familiar with them... I actually still need to look up a map every time I need to get somewhere here.

Congrats on the job! XD I hope your job search starts picking up more too. ♥

~Aww, your cat could be lonely! Ours really like hanging out with each other (even if the girl one beats up on the boy one ALL THE TIME, lolz), so she might just want a friend. Ragdolls are so cute! XD
