We watched a bit of this movie in my Russian cinema class and the prof went on and on about how it was filmed in one take and how it was a masterpiece. After watching that bit I have to say that I was pretty friggin' impressed. even though there's pretty much no dialogue and no major plot to keep you at the edge of your seat, the way it was filmed, the danving, the music, the characters and all that jazz made it so the scenes went by in a jiffy. I've never seen the whole thing, but I'd like to one day.

I think the way it was filmed kept me on the edge of my seat alone. You should definitely check it out!

All right...you convinced me. I added it to my Netflix queue--I moved it to #7, after various League of Gentlemen and Upstairs, Downstairs series. :0) P.S. By the way--if you haven't seen the League of Gentlemen, you should! (Not The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen--that's crap.)

Yeah, that's what I was thinking of! It didn't strike me as very "Christa," however......I have never seen that, but maybe I will. I'm glad you added this one to your list, though. I think you'll like it.

LOL...I know! I had the same thoughts hwne my friend Esther suggested I check out LOG--it wasn't very Esther-like!

Okay, so I just noticed my big huge typo, but I'm not correcting it, because..."hwne" for "when"?! How on Earth did I do that?! I've been geteting really bad lately. (SEE?!)

So. Yes, check out League of Gentlemen...very funny. It's the same three guys playing most of the townsfolk--it's a bit like Harry Enfield and Chums, in a way. But dry, dark humour.
