The older you get the more sleep you'll need. However you seem to do just fine with 3 hours sleep hehe. ;-)
Your back pains might be caused by a big inward curve on the lower part of the back. If you have a sway-back then you should try to work on your abs and back muscles in order to get the muscles stronger and that way the muscles will straigthen your back.
