So this “Romance the Bride” concept is impacting me. On Friday I helped set up the True Life Choices Purity Ball. It is an event where dads bring their daughters (preteen to late high school age) to a fancy banquet. So this idea has been in development since 2005. While reflecting one day on my desire to find a girlfriend, God impressed this thought upon me. “Care for my Bride, and I will care for YOURS. So I am alone on Valentine's...I was sad about that reality in the days leading up to this week.

Now I am excited.

Because instead of feeling sad, I am thinking of ways to romance the Bride of Christ on Thursday.

So I have performed a new task at work for several nights now: sweeping the floors in casepick. Casepick promoted some of the cleaners, while others were let go. So on Saturday in the middle of my lifting, an elderly gentleman came up, asking me a question about joining the fitness center.

I smiled, stated I did not work there, and pointed him to the front desk worker (who was elsewhere helping another person).

Dang, I did not realize my body looked THAT good already! :-P ;-)
