So I finally watched this award winning series about political corruption in Spain. And I have to agree with everyone: it's brilliant. I loved the opening credits, the truthfulness with which everything was told (no fancy whores, no romanticized villains, no pure evil characters either, things are what they are -no more and no less) and it has so ( Read more... )

Did you find it on English?

Nope, it was in Spanish. I don't have as much practice understanding it as English, but I get by. I watch El Ministerio del Tiempo with Spanish subs on TVE's website. They don't do geoblocking, unlike UK/US channels.

You're lucky. I tried to watch something on their website from France a while ago and I couldn't do it (but maybe it had to do with doing it on my phone).

Where are you from? And do you laugh with EMDT? Because it's such a Spanish sense of humour that I wasn't sure any foreigner was going to enjoy as much as us.

This sounds so interesting. And a bit like Forbrydelsen in the way that treated murder as a very real thing, rather than the usual murder mystery show. Going to see if I can find anywhere to watch/catch a few trailers. Thank you for the rec!

I didn't watch that one so I can't tell.

Let me know if you finally get your hands on it. :) I'm sorry I can't help you but I have no idea where and how it got outside of Spain. Or if there are English subs around, I imagine Spanish products can be hard to find.
