To unsung heroes

I've finished watching season 3 of The 100 and, loving the show as I am, I need to say how injust it is that the main character and hero of the show is someone who is so boring and so unlikeable as Clarke; while there are other awesome characters that don't get the atention and respect they deserve.

Spoilers for S3

Octavia is the real hero of the story and she keeps getting bossed around by everyone. She's the one who would have it easier and who would do the truest job to form an alliance or at least keep a peaceful world (even if Clarke did that, she'd only be thinking about "her people", Octavia would be thinking about everyone). She's the link to the grounders and Lincoln is the link to the sky people, they both together form something special and new, something nobody else believed in until it was too late. They are the ones this story should be centered around, and not Clarke and Bellamy.

I'm quite angry right now because of Lincoln's death: it shouldn't have happened. And I'm not saying that because I don't like deaths: I loved how the writers were brave enough to kill off Finn (which was a great plot, btw, Raven-Finn-Clarke-Raven-Alie-Raven) and so many others, but I don't understand Lincoln's death; was he so much more expendable than Bellamy?

On other people:

· I've been growing fonder and fonder of Murphy lately. He's one of the best written characters for sure.
· I loved what we saw of the Abby/Marcus relationship (so subtle, so tender).
· Lexa was great. I only felt the need to match her with a better lover.
· I love LOVE the main plot: how it starts looking like another nuclear war and then turns out to be a defective AI.
· Raven is one of my favourite characters, obvs. Although in the beginning I didn't like her too agressive jealousy, but now I understand it was necessary to understand what happened later with Alie.
· Jasper's another one who surprised me with his brutal change. I can do nothing but clap my hands. I loved it.

I have to say the show surprised me greatly. I'll keep watching: this is worth it.
