Still here, in a manner of speaking

This is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay overdue, but I thought I'd post just to let folks know that I'm still around (well, "around" anything but computers and internet connections), in case anyone was wondering. As to why exactly I haven't posted/commented/shown my face in even the smallest, dingiest corners of LJ: to sum up a long and exceedingly pathetic

And hey, I'm sorry I never replied to that message you sent me -- I thought about it every time I signed in to LJ, but I remain the most procrastinatey procrastinator ever, and I just never got around to it. Thanks for sending it though! It's nice to be wondered about. :D I hope you're doing well, and OMG, Rory McCann?!? (If I'm spelling it right?!) Can we talk about it?!?

I understand the furtive feeling, after the fire, I was RPing in the tourist bureau in Wellington, not the easiest thing.

*hugs!* Thanks for the comment! I hope Michigan and classes are treating you well! And Little John, awww. I miss him! (I don't miss the BBC show, though. I did watch a little of the first third season episode recently, and all it made me wonder was why I was ever able to sit through 15 seconds of the series, let alone the first two seasons.)

I loved your Little John and the figure is in a pride of place in my bedroom so I see him everytime I get dressed. Also yes school is busy but nice, I really think I might end up a children or youth librarian if things keep going this way.

Aww, I'm sorry its gotten so bad but then I never really cared that much for it. Well if you ever want to try out just a general lore again of John maybe in mixed_muses, I'm always available.

*hugs!* I'm thrilled that you commented, because I always grin when I see Fanny's username, no matter which one of you is at the helm. ;) I miss you too and long for the day when I not only have a computer/net connection, but am (mentally and financially) stable enough to resume chatting with you the way we used to!

And I can only imagine how busy you've been! One of these days I'll be around to catch up, I swear.

I was just reading one of your posts the other day (right before I typed this one up) and thinking I should comment on it, and then I wondered (shame-facedly) if you'd remember just who I was. I hope you and your pups are doing splendidly! Randomly, I saw a Wes Janson muse a few weeks ago while surfacing somewhere, and he didn't have the same PB you used, and all I could think was, that is SO not Wes.
