just so you know, sometimes bulimia is seen as a way of life. I myself don't eat, and it is partly because I see myself as overweight. I can tell you are discouraging this behavior, and the only thing I can think to tell you is to try and push her to not eating... bulimia is not only messier, but it is FAR more dangerous. The up-sides you could point out is that it might make her feel as though she has willpower, and her esophagus won't explode :) the latter stopped me from vomiting.
As to the cutting, *shrugs* I do it as well. There are a lot of reasons... I have two main ones that I know of, because there are always more underneath. I do it because A) it releases frustration and anger that I refuse to take out on others and B) it makes my body as ugly as I feel my persona is. You may or may not like it, and you may try and encourage her that the 'right' way is to stop both or all 3 of these habits... but she won't unless she wants to.
