Trying to find documentation to justify to the state of Texas why they should continue granting enough of a Medicaid stipend tokeep my mom safe &  off the street, i stumbled into the PDF of my last LJ archive pull, and promptly fell down ancient rat holes of thither and yon.

Man, i really kept rather busy, once.

Now i live a pretty quiet life

I've lost track of where you're living these days. I've been on LJ continually and there are still many folks contributing to this site. Are you still with the partner you met in Austin, TX? If you're writing here and your settings are for friends only, why not just write whatever you want to write about? Is your partner likely to see it? Going back to a previous post of yours ... Live Journal is not seriously over; it's just evolved.

Ah, currently in Albequerque, tho i didn't move my mother out of state; there isnt much activity, but a hell of a lot of drama, mainly between me and my ex, who is, to put it politely, not the man i married. I personally detest exclusive friends only content, tho i well understand why it’s good for some- much of what i liked about blogging was in having a public forum. More later, tho

👋 If it wasn't for the email notification that you posted, I likely wouldn't have seen this. But alas, it is nice to be reminded of a different moment in time! I should pull RSS for the few remaining friends that actively post. (And look forward to emails when the errant posts pop up!)

Heh. My own RSS hums along and then occasionally drops 1 to 10 of your lovely picture posts,, which always warm my cold cockles. It’s truly surprising what you can still get away with doing via RSS.

I'm sure your life is much more interesting than mine... and sometimes, just blogging about the mundane is something that other people might find interesting.

To be honest, I don't know why I post on LJ (and sometimes I get heavily behind) - but I promised myself to do at least one post per day. And try to keep up with that.

Sometimes, it's a post about me spending the whole day in bed. With no photos. Or nothing of interest.

But it's the one constant thing I can do to have some sense of normality in my life, because my brain, and the way it works, is far from normal! 😳
