I've just got word that a fellow caver and friend has become seriously ill with west nile virus, and is in a coma. Dave Taylor is an experienced, and one of the very best cavers I have known. Today is yet another extremely hot and dry day in Austin. If only I had something to do. I have worked on several little projects and read books and rented a movie, and still I have so much extra time. If I were in Arkansas right now, I'd be outside!
