YES! Update! I possibly flailed and stopped writing my own fic when I realised you updated. Possibly.

Where do you get the chapter titles from? Because I don't understand any of them they're really cool.

However, you have made it impossiblr for me to watch PPP without thinking about this story and wishng you wrote the script and whyyyy didn't this actually happen?!

Weeeelp, I'm glad you asked that! Venoumous started out as just a one shot, about Rosie getting bitten by a snake. When I realized I wanted to continue it, I found that "Venomous" as a title by itself would be a bit misleading, since this is basically a run through of the whole movie, just with missing scenes.

Therefore, I decided to have the adjectives like "venomous", "detrimental", "innocuous" etc etc, be a representation for the evolution of Rosie and Carter's relationship. They go from "rawr hate!" to "yay BFF!" very quickly, so I'm trying to space out the chapters in a way that examines this change.

I've been waiting forever for someone to catch on <3

I think one of the reasons why I enjoy this fic so much is because it is following along the general time line of the movie (at least at this point) and it keeps filling in parts I wish had been in the movie in the first place. And it also expanding on what we couldn't get from the movie, how Rosie and Carter were actually feeling, whether it be in their interactions, their words, their looks to and at each other.

Plus, it's written wonderfully.

You've hit the nail on the head, that's exactly what I'm working to do. Just give more substantial exposition to Rosie/Carter's relationship, since the movie did such a crap job with it.

I'm thinking of continuing Vemonous into a kinda sequel thing, that goes thru when theyre older and stuff, and it'd be all rife with ~political intrigue and secret agent stuff and yay.

Geez Alana. Your writings amazing! I'm so not just saying this. I actually mean it. I fucking love this fic. It's just so. I dunno. I can't even describe it.

It's still a work-in-progress sadly. I normally post the next chapter as soon as I'm finished with it though. I'm trying to finish as quick as I can, but I don't want to rush it because I'm afraid it might turn to crap, and such.
