I really want to sympathize with you over this, because I know how you probably feel, I just haven't really felt that myself. I get lonely constantly, but I don't really do homesick. Being home and having one friend I see more online than off won't be overly different from living in a dorm and having one friend who I'll only see online, just like every single one of my other friends.

I guess I'm saying I don't know homesick, but I do know lonely. I use livejournal and optimism to cope most of the time. I have faith in you to get through this brilliantly whatever you do though :)
