Anybody else getting weird semi-english comments about harry potter on their journals, in an entry that has absolutely NOTHING to do with Harry Potter? Is there some sort of hacking/ spamming bug going around?

Pulling up the source code for the page also showed a bunch of Russian links after the comment that didn't show up on the page. It hadn't occurred to me to look for that before though, just thought it was crazy.

and ugggh i haven't watched like, ANYTHING since being up here, the internet in our dorms is working decently, but video streaming/ downloading is an abomination. i have to go to the library if i want that, but of course the library has selective hours /:

Yeah, I got a weird comment some time last week. It was really random and it looked like a tweet, definitely threw me off for a sec.

Yeah, I got a comment like that on my friends-only post, but it didn't have any code or links from what I could tell. I clicked on the user profile and saw it was an empty journal and figured it was probably a random spammer. Then I got a message that was similar only it was about the Baby-Sitters Club series, and once again, empty journal. However, that one threw me because I've written fic for that fandom, so IDK. I wonder if these people are just spamming whoever has those topics listed in their interests on their profile. LJ needs to fix it soon though, it's getting old fast.
