Just wanted to clarify something. With the 4th of July coming up, I'm gonna find it difficult to be here instead of spending it with my family, with whom I spent every 4th of July until 2006. Now that I'm a soldier, things are different, but they're really quite the same. I have always been a patriot; I was raised that way. Few are more ( Read more... )

Ok, I know this was written weeks ago, but I wanted to add something. This July 4th meant more to me than it ever has. THe reason we celebrate this day is because of men and women like you who are over there fighting for us... I find myself so proud and in complete admiration of you. Yes it's different because we can't be together, but it means so much now... I've always loved my country, I just appreciate the soldiers that protect it a lot more now! I love my soldier!
