Got the first kill of my Army career last night. My M249 SAW gunners laid waste to an entire floor, wasting the insurgent fucker pinning down some Iraqi Police with only a pistol. I'm doing...OKAY..not great, but okay. The preliminary diagnosis is that I have a slipped/herniated disc in my back. It hurts if I try to sit down and relax for more than 15-20 minutes :( But, for most of the day, I feel decent. it's almost always uncomfortable, but at least it's not always hurting. The doctor also thinks i might have had a very mild concussion. That will be checked on Monday if I am still getting headaches (dr. thought headaches might have been from the medication they gave me at the ER).
I actually do have a temp job. Setting up computers for little urchins children at elementary and middle schools. It's not much $ or anything and I'm only employed til November, but, hey, work is work...
