My shower was Saturday afternoon, and despite work schedules, soccer games, and "I'm having contractions" reducing the guest list quite a bit, we still had loads of fun.  Since the shower ended up being all family, Bear & boys stayed and made it a co-ed event, with Beartaking pics (which he hasn't uploaded yet to flickr).  Panda really outdid ( Read more... )

I'm so glad the shower went well! I've been waiting on your update to find out. :D Heartburn sucks in pregnancy...I had it mildly with Ethan but badly with Aneisha.

I'll survive this heartburn... it's bearable compared to the acid reflux I had for so many weeks in late first and early second trimester. Me and Maalox are still good friends though. ;-)

One of the slings got sent today. I had two, but couldn't find one of them (a denim, non adjustable one). I sent the ring sling I had, though. If I find the other, I'll send it on its way. :)

Thanks so much! You're a sweetie, and that ring sling will come in handy.

Sounds awesome. My husband wants to have a co-ed baby shower, he says with the wedding he got to have a bachelor party but with this he doesn't get to go to anything.

Yanno, there are actually idea out there for men's only "baby showers". I saw one the other day that I thought was really cute. Baby Poker Night - all the male guests that come have to bring a large pack of diapers to be able to play. It could be adapted all over the place for male type activities, I'd bet, or substitute something else for the diapers, like a baby bottle or baby outfit. Diapers are just easier for guys that aren't baby oriented to pick out I think.
