He gets his own bed? That's awesome. I don't think I've ever heard of that.

This is a small 'branch' hospital sort of, so they don't have a lot of postpartum rooms. I'll bet if things got REALLY crowded, they might have to go semi-private, so they just have the beds set up in case... I'm sure Bear will appreciate that over the uncomfy thing his uncle had to sleep on at the other hospital (and those awful folding chairs they had at Children's when J1 was hospitalized last October).

It's really nice because our boys were both c-sections but born at a rural hospital where they got whisked away fairly quickly to the nursery from the OR, and I had to go to the regular surgery recovery room all by myself. Will be nice not to be "stranded" like that this time!

Now that it's down to 11 days, excited ~and~ tired. She needs to hurry it up. ;-)
