Papaw Passed Away

My sister called just before 5 p.m. today to tell me that she wasn't going to be coming up for the baby's birth. Hospice had given out the sad news that they did not expect Papaw to make it through the weekend. I told her it was the right decision and to be there to give our love to Papaw and the family

I'm so sorry about your loss... yet can understand the relief that they're not suffering from cancer anymore.... My own grandpa, very close to the only father figure for me, too, passed a few years ago... I feel for you.
