Lenae Update

Will the person who snitched my Sleep-through-the-night baby angel and replaced her with Wake-Every-Hour-to-Nurse kiddo please return the first version?  ;-)

Thus has gone the last week or so.  Lenae just doesn't want to sleep anymore (and she's not really napping enough during the day to be causing night waking).  She wakes, nurses for 15-30

oh my that sounds very unhappy for your sleep routene.
i hope she goes back to happy sleeping baby soon.

also, whats GERD stand for?

Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease. He essentially projectile vomited after each feeding, so he had to be fed every 2 hours for the first six months. He had to be kept upright after feedings (so he wouldn't aspirate if he vomited). After he was 6 months it calmed down somewhat, but he stayed on the 5th percentile for growth and had to stay on his expensive speciality formula until he was 18 months.

Hit post too soon. It's caused by the muscle at the top of the stomach not being developed enough to keep feedings down, so it goes away essentially whenever baby's stomach finally develops enough to handle things.

Neisha's been waking at all hours this last week too. :( Not fun.

I hope you get the reflux sorted soon. Poor baby.
