Lenae had her 6 month checkup today (although she was 6 months on Saturday the 13th).

Weight:  14 lbs, 8 oz  (up from 13lbs 6oz at 4 months) - 40th percentile
Height:  27 inches (up from 25 3/4 inches at 4 months) - 90th percentile
Head circumference:  I didn't get the # but it's on the same track it has been (aka normal).

Your baby's first word is Bubba?

Well, yeah. Brother's rather hard to pronounce, as are Jason and Justin (the niecelet called them Shayshun and Shushin for a long time when she didn't just say "Hey Boy!")

Besides, after teaching Jason Mamamamamamamamama! and getting smarter with Justin and teaching him Dada instead... I figured be even smarter this time and let her yell for them at 5 am! ;-)

Judy is so happy that our grandchild is saying nana before anything else. All of our kids said da-da first (even Andrew who was nine months old when I met her, THAT did not thrill her)

Oh - and you are a bad, bad Yankee Man for picking on baby-speech. ;-)

Besides, what did your kiddos call brothers when they were small and learning to talk?

Me either. I'm 6 pounds under my prepregnancy weight, but considering I had 50 I could do without, 6 isn't making a dent in it yet. 14.5 would be NICE.

Matthew did that head thing. I was worried we were going to have to get one of those neck things to straighten him out! He eventually straightened out on his own. :)
