My children, despite repeated cautions, begging, and outright threats of grounding until retirement age, still didn't let their dad sleep in this morning.  *sighs*  You'd think an almost-13-year-old and an 11-year-old could manage to follow directions, play quietly, and amuse their sister for just a little while when it's important.  We've been ( Read more... )

Hey Angie, I asked Bear but he wasn't specific, so what would you all like me to bring? I make a great green bean cassarole, an awesome sweet potato casarole, yummy waldorf salad, tasty deviled eggs, scrumptious orange & pineapple ambrosia and all those yummy side-item stuffs.

If you're planning on making something in particular, let me know (so we don't wind up with two dishes of green bean cassarole or something similar! lol) or let me know what you'd like - otherwise I'm just gonna make stuff and bring it over. Like I told Bear, whatever don't get eaten, I can just take home! lol

I'm fine with any of the above except the deviled eggs - I like those the way Mom made 'em and Angie does a good job. *g* In fact, sweet potato cassarole sounds great.

Of course, I dunno how well Mickey-D's and sweet potato cassarole will go together... *eg*

Contrary to Bear's beliefs, we're not having Mickey D's. brat bear!

Gonna do turkey, stuffing, deviled eggs, potato salad, and rolls/biscuits. Maybe some pies.

I'd thought about baked sweet potatoes, but if you're bringing sweet potato casserole, that'll keep us covered in that area.
