Last night I saw an episode of Historieätarna (the edible historians)

the Swedish version of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Supersizers... (which is one of my favorite series of tv programs EVER!!!). The episode I saw was #5 of 6 and dealt with the mid-18th century. The Swedish series is a direct copy of the Brittish one and mostly held the same high quality standard

I missed that episode and I'm not sure I want to see it... *bangs head against the table*

If the show's producers had just edited out the goofy bits then the episode would have been just fine.
