I wouldn't worry about it (don't think you are, but anywho). In the words of, well, you: dreams...aka really fucked up shit.

I have dreams where I have a daughter, and she doesn't want to speak to me, or I'm being chased or killed or accused of something I didn't do, and I wake up feeling kind of unbalanced and thinking 'what the hell?'...but it passes. You'll be right. We both know that.

PS. Working on a movie is always stressful. Maybe give yourself a break, eh? It doesn't have to be complete by a certain date, does it?

thanks trace. and yea, your right. i did need a break. i went and saw the punisher movie last night... surprisingly good considerign the comic book basis. highly recomended (loks of violence for ya....)

and as for the movie... completed by a certain date?! dear GOD... i dont think thats even possible to plan for. theres far far FAR to many unknowns. the tenative plan is... "if we have the first scene done by june of 2005... i'll be surprised." so yea... no real "finish by" date. but still... annoying to not make progress. anyway.... i'm off to finish writing that first scene.

I can't sympathise enough with the feeling that your project is falling a little by the wayside. My game The Far Tide was initially conceived in 2000, and there has been so little work done on it at times that I wonder where it's ever going to go. Sometimes it's been shelved completely, for months on end. It's tough, especially when it means a lot to you. I can only recommend discipline; make yourself some kind of strict timetable to make sure you work on it for a certain amount of time a week.

I've been checking out your community, and am pretty much up to date with the bones of the story. You gotta e-mail me some ideas for the music. I could start off with a main theme, a signature piece for the whole thing - if you could write me a brief for what you'd like, I could get a start on it.

Take it easy,

Marc

if i had any real idea of what i wanted, i would do that. i'm about to finish writing the first scene (at least in some rough fashion...) and i'll try and think on the music after that.

the only thing i have thought of is during a scene where one city is leveled by artilery. i was listening to one of muse's songs... time is running out... and thought that that sort of feel could fit well with that particular scene.

otherthen that... man... i dont know. i cant even recall ff battle music or somethat would fit... oi. been too long since i have played an FF game.
