So, after spending hours locking my whole journal, I have decided to start making the occasional unlocked entry at the request of friends who hardly ever sign in, or don't have LJs, and who am I to suspend their pleasure

I'm still keeping it mostly friends locked, just putting up the odd general update for non-LJ friends :)

Grad dip or certificate was the way I was leaning anyways, in something related to my subject but a little more practical and vocational. We'll see what happens there. It could all be up in the air again now, as there has been another change in circumstances, which I will be posting about shortly.

The distance learning courses I am looking at (including the Phd) is through University of Leicester, and given the subject I wanted to look at, I would have asked my old lecturer, who was my undergrad dissertation supervisor, to be my phd supervisor. They are definately Phds, and Leicester is renowned for it's distance learning courses, so whatever I end up going for, it should work out ok.
