So, a few days ago, we heard that Hurricane Katia was heading towards Scotland. I checked the predicted path, and it looked too far North too affect our trip too badly.

I was wrong.

Today just got worse. The back end of the hurricane is directly hitting Millport/Largs. All ferries cancelled. Possibly overnighting in Largs sports centre.....

So, it turns out the local Sainsbury's stock Indorex, and they're open til 8.

So......I'm still struggling to come to terms with the loss of Merlin. I miss him something dreadful, and still cry whenever I think on it for too long. My reaction to his death was to fill my home with as many mementos and photo's of him as possible, to keep his memory alive.
