Okay, I have to admit this one has been different in so many ways from the years that preceeded it. Some good but too much not. I suppose to sum up this year I'll remember it as the year my grandson was born and let the rest go bye the bye

The birth of a grandchild can make up for a lot of too much not good things in a year. And now 2007 can be a joyous new year for you thinking of great ways to spoil him. :)

Sorry about the family upheaval, I guess it comes and goes. For your daughter, if she keeps feeling depressed, I'd recommend giving up on the breastfeeding (if she is), because it keeps a bunch of sometimes unsettling mommy hormones running around the body.
