So… my choice this time is to share a bit of my fear with all of you - not for sympathy - that I don’t need.

You are right about that, furthermore, sympathy does nothing really for eihter the receiver or giver that is beyond superficial at best.

Just some understanding I guess… since all the choices I will make from now on are going to hinge on the choice I will have to make the first of the month.

Knowing you as I do, I am sure that you will weigh all of the aspects of the choice and come up with what you believe is the best choice considering the information you have available at the time.

And it’s scaring the crap out of me.From what little I could glean from the somewhat sparse details you have put in this post, I can understand it scaring the crap out of you. I have been there myself a few times ( ... )

You are correct, Dave... whatever choice I make about what is to come will be based on every scrap of knowledge I can glean in the near future. And I am trying to have a fatalistic outlook on all this (difficult since I'm a 'Katie, bar the door!' sort of person ya know). Just sometimes, it gets to me.

I thank you for your offer of help... what you typed in helped more than you will ever realize. But if you would happen to have a young, undamaged body stored somewhere that's waiting for a new soul to inhabit it... I'd be obliged. Umm... better make it a female one... I'd not know what to do with a male - it's been so long, ya know.

Well if I find one in the ship's stores, I'll let you know. A young female body to inhabit, hmmm, I think I sort of remember how to inhabit young female bodies. ;)

Your openagement is grand, I'm sorry to read the subject is fear. I'm goin with my gut here - you have nothing to worry about. Don't I know about getting old and wore out... You know too. Inside the head we feel 25 or so, then we have to bend over, or get out of a chair, or remember what the hell I came into this room to do... I feel the same as you. Make it swift, I don't want to depend on anyone and stuff. I dont get on here much anymore, but I think of you all the time. Please keep me posted? *HUG*

You and I, my dear, will _never_ be old.. just a mite aged! After all, it's the mind and spirit's age that counts. You remember how my age use to bother me so much? Well, I finally decided a couple of years ago that if someone has a problem with my age, then that is THEIR problem. That was one of the best choices I ever made.

As for the physical part of aging - it really sucks... and not in a good way. But even tho it irks me that I'm not a willowy 25 anymore, I'm still a spritly 60! *laugh*

Perhaps you need to be spanked... or laid? Either of those will remind you of just how young you still are!

Thank you, Bob *hug*
