We were worried when you didn't come home, but I'm glad you're all right now.

[Dinner was a light salad along with fish in cream sauce, as she still wasn't in any mood to make something like hamburgers now that Ashton wasn't there. Snacks or dessert consisted of pound cake, eaten plain or with homemade raspberry sorbet, and the gingersnap cookies she made that were cooling on the rack.]
