I'm going to be a bridesmaid, even though I don't think I can possibly be a maid since I'm married I'm playing along.  Anyways, I wanted to show you the dress.

I think so too. Unfortunately, I only got to try it on in black with the sand belt.

That's a really pretty dress. I couldn't afford anything nearly that fancy. by the way, I know you've been aking me over, and I haven't come yet. This week is crazy, but I'll try to stop by soon.

Well, she is making all the bridesmaids pay for their dresses and shoes, but I guess when you are spending such a huge amount on a wedding, you have to cut the line a certain point.

Oh, don't worry about not having time to come up. I really do understand being busy.

and i never understood why people declined being a brides maid b/c they were married so i'm glad you are "playing along" but i do find it kind of harsh that you used that term.
its an honor to be asked, married or not. and most bridal parties have at least one married person attending to either the bride or the groom.
a lot of times the brides maids and the ushers are actual couples.

I just meant that I'm playing along with being a "maid" since I'm technically a "matron". I've never declined being in a wedding. I know how special it is to both the bride and the attendant.
