I've been wanting to read this and make Isaac read this.  So I'm pretty excited.

We also got a book from Amazon yesterday.

That Clark Carlton book is very good. All the books in that series are good, really.

Good, I don't know why Isaac wanted the one about Catholics since we were protestant, but he ordered it last week. He was really excited to get the book.

It's recommended that Prots read the book on Catholicism because of the theological framework shared by Latins and Prots. They have the same view on the Trinity, the filioque, both are juridical in their view of salvation. Like Khomiakhov said: Latins and Prots are two sides of the same coin. They come to different conclusions about God and faith, but they ask the same questions and have the same presuppositions. To answer the Latins regarding how they differ from the Orthodox, then, is to also have an answer for the Prots.

I'm very excited about it too. I haven't read it yet, but I made a deal with Isaac so he has to read at least 2 chapters. :) Maybe he'll learn to like him.
