Capital may have just moved up.  I forgot about this, but they have a Greece Study Abroad program!!  Spouses can come as well!

However, they do admit non-Capital United States law students enrolled in American Bar Association-approved law schools.  So its possible I could spend 5 weeks on the Greek beaches while Zac studies EU law even if we go to ( Read more... )

Yeah its our top choice at the moment. The only way Regent will win is if he is awarded the InterVarsity scholarship which is 22k/year. We simply would not be able to turn that down. Also St. Louis could win if we are accepted there, just because his mother will probably not take no for an answer. We moved from West Virginia to St. Louis to be closer to her so she does NOT want us to move away. Please keep us in your prayers, specifically about the InterVarsity scholarship. Its in God's hands at this point.

Capital sounds like a great choice, indeed--and it's certainly a better second option than Appalacchian. By now you have a clearer idea of what your real options are, which is good, and should take care of a lot of the stress you've been under. God's will be done!

just don't sun yourself on the beaches of Mount Athos, I don't think they'd appreciate it :-P

Greece sounds like such an adventure, I hope you're able to go!

haha. Since I cannot go to Mount Athos, being a woman, I don't think I would sunbathe there. ;-)

Yes, even if we go to Regent, we will make an effort to go with this program. Please keep us in your prayers.

I think Isaac needs to stop reading so much, stop the business card presses and retake the LSAT ( ... )

He had a 158 on his LSAT, which isn't horribly bad. We have applied to St. Louis U, which is Tier 2. His LSAT is above their median. We just haven't heard from them yet. We aren't too worried about jobs. Also I've heard a lot of students who transfer into "upgrades". If all else fails, his dad is an attorney and the director of two state agencies said that he'd like to retire and open a firm with Isaac.
