I'm not sure if they have it in Ohio, but make sure you get one of their Advantage Cards. That way, stuff is a bit cheaper, but more importantly it helps you save on gas if any of their GetGO gas stations are in your area. That's how it works in Pa. at least. You can also buy gift cards there for Barnes and Noble, and they count toward the gas savings.

Yeah I got one of the savings cards. They said starting tomorrow every 50 dollars you spend you'll get .20 cents off of gas. Which isn't much, but it does add up.

That's twenty cents off each gallon, keep in mind. And with groceries and the other stuff you can buy there, fifty bucks adds up pretty quickly. If you can sign up your card for that UPromise college thing, do it. It won't kick a whole lot back, but it is better than nothing. I happen to do it myself.

I'm registered on UPromise, but haven't registered my Giant Eagle card. I will later today. Thanks.

Holy crap, this is awesome! We have nothing like this in Michigan.

(Um... not that I live in Michigan now. *weeps* You know, I was recently talking to someone, and I said something like, "Oh, that's about 3 hours from here." By here, of course, I meant Grand Rapids.)

Anyway, we don't have it here in Puerto Rico, either. I mean, stores won't even take coupons around these parts!

what great savings!

i never use coupons - but many times, i don't buy anything at the market unless it's on sale. i just adjust my meals to what's on sale.
