Maine Land

I know they say that it takes 9 months of pregnancy for a woman's body to morph into a giant baby-incubator and that I should expect at least that long to return to my pre-pregnancy self but I have to say, I thought I would feel a lot more recovered by now. I feel old
Crazy the people you come across on facebook. Growing up, my family would come to the US about once a year, sometimes every two years, and we'd go around visiting extended family all the way from the Seattle area to Houston, New Orleans and Atlanta. It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood
Every day during some portion of Lucas' awake time, I try to get out just to entertain Lucas in some way shape or form. Some collection of the following places has turned into part of our routine outings. I love our neighborhood. The Baby Red Carpet
The past year could have been a social experiment in my neighborhood. When I was obviously and visibly pregnant, people were talking to me that would never have given me a second glance before- particularly women- and now with a baby, I'm apparently that much more interesting.
