so the name is Ladder Ranch, New Mexico. it was some time in June 2000, the start of a drought of three years in the southwest. water sources were dried out by the mid-June, and we had less and less place to work with

but that one night, onder teh stars
the two blankes i kept back there
we where laying down looking up a the night sky
it was perfect
her bed kept us off the ground
and the sides made it private
it made me feel good inside
the night air kissed our skin
and the sky was our sheet
we looked at our wishes and we stared at each other
we could have had the music on
but the crickets and peepers made such sweet sounds
the lightning bugs made shooting stars
and far off cries of cyotes made s remember
it could have lasted for ever
