[the whole concept of a holiday for giving gifts was still strange, and truthfully he hadn't been expecting anything. but here he was, waiting for Gwendolyn with his dragon steed wandering not too far off.

but Tybalt is a bit more surprised at suddenly seeing the box held out in front of him. it takes him a moment before he reaches out and takes it, holding it up a little.]
