Today we've got a long slow morning, thank goodness. Then Maya's got a soccer game, then a skating show. We need to clean house, and buy groceries. I'm compulsively blogging because blogging is the right distance for me. I suppose it might be, ahem, good to actually talk to my spouse and friends sometime soon, instead of this half-distanced

we've got a long slow morning ... I used to believe in the like. I also used to believe in Santa Claus(es), so they say. It's just it always seems to be well into afternoon on any of those days by the time I start thinking about what to do after Noon.

As for choice of social distance, so few trust themselves to balance that out for themselves. Speaking as one who has, and hasn't, I find that a short while of just the right distance at just the right time can do more good than going to one extreme or another later on.
