I'm rather sad to hear that. Some time ago I swore to myself that I'd never again associate with those who call apon black magicks. For they do not obey the basic rules and draw nothing but Hate and Misiery to those who call apon it. Powerful it is, I have seen that first hand. But it builds up a wall, that consumes and feeds on the practicioner. And it's all but impossible to escape. For if they do somehow pull away from it's hold after getting in too deep...the those strong walls Crash down and destroy the one who has built them. This is the nature of Black Magick, it's true form no matter what It hides itself as. She's right. You have a much better heart, a much better brain, a much better soul than many, and this is why the "dark side" calls to you. You have to realize the darkness has no power of its own. It does not create anything of its own. It can't even take anything from you without your permission.
It is a parasite that must have the powers created by Truth in order to survive, and it will disguise itself in whatever form is most appealing to you so that you give your powers away freely.
Perhaps you should remember your dream about the bear. When does the soul turn upon itself in destruction? Only when it believes the lies of darkness.
