The whole "I hate Wal-Mart" thing is getting old

It's not just you, but seriously, I saw a man who was crying on the news because he was so happy that Wal-Mart was turned down for their location in Cedar Mill.

i think the information in that story was kind of biased.

what you didn't read there that they included in a follow up article was that many traffic stops were initiated on the freeway and the address listed on the police report was that of walmart since it is right off the freeway and they pulled into the parking lot.

secondly, wal mart calls the police for every shoplifter they pick up. even if it is just a pack of gum or a bottle of water. a lot of stores only call the fuzz for thefts totaling $50 or more.

the problem is not some old retired people who park their RVs in the parking lot to shop and rest for a few hours, as the city claims. we need to address the overwhelming drug and domestic violence issues city and countywide first before we start picking on walmart.

What's to hate about great deals on brand name merchandise such as LA Gear shoes, soyo/GPX TV's, or starter brand clothing!!!
