if it were a 26 year old male and a 14 year old female though it would be "rape" and the guys always get way more time in jail...I can't believe I'm sticking up for dudes in this case...but the women should be held to equal standards...even if the guy she had sex with will spend the rest of his life bragging about it.

It's interesting that the maximum punishment for this crime is 15 years in prison, yet she got away with probation. All in all, the judge would have given prison time if it was a guy, you're right. But since it was a younger male, who did ASK for it, then she got probation. She said she should be in jail, which is pretty interesting, she also said something to the effect of what you said about women and equal standards. She's obviously got issues, she was raped more in middle school (ironic) and apparently around the time this happened her older sister was killed by a drunk driver.
