i was feeling a little blue after work today, so i went to the nearby OSH and bought a succulent and two cute pots.

brought my areca palm and snake plant-3 into work.
the palm was looking a little wilted.

the two dragon plants at home are looking a little brown/red.

avocado plant finally starting to sprout!

brought my ficus robusta, my oldest dracaena, and a clipping from my spider plant to work.
the first two plants will do better at work where there is a lot of filtered light.
neither were growing very much at home.

am taking over the plan duties at work.
lots of brown leaves and dry soil.
bought a special green watering can.

peace lily: required constant watering. it is now lush and healthy.
wandering jew: clipping put into soil.
avocado: put into soil as well.

i recently found signs that this plant had survived after wondering if it would ever beat again after last winter.

the peace lily likes to sit on a wet tray of gravel. it no longer appears limp.

the croton #2 seems a little delicate: leaves fall off easily to the touch. i removed the stones from on top of the soil and it seemed to sag a lot less.

the avocado pits are starting to split. this is very exciting.

the state of my peace lily worries me.
i have moved it next to the two dragons: up high in the kitchen where it can get indirect sun.
