I always pondered about those few moments before they both walked in to the area where Rios was sitting. You did a wonderful job illustrating it ;). Very nicely written, graphic, hot and still in character. It's so refreshing to find someone else who has an unhealthy obsession with Clyde/Salem. If ya have an interest I wrote a couple fics about these two. Real long stories though so it'll take some time; posted on adultFF. kudos again!
Thanks for the review. There's not that many in-game moments with a lax enough time frame to play around with. I always wondered why the sudden Clyde had a bloody grin on that plane.
I believe I read those two, I remember they had long titles and were post-game. Not that many fanfics roaming around the net. Both definitely played a part in influencing my interpretation of Clyde.
yep those are probably the ones then. The penname is spawnstar. I'm glad you liked them heh (at least I hope!). Hard to find Clyde/Salem fans indeed! ;) but yeah if you want to throw any feedback my way let me know k? Are you going to be writing more?? ~spawnstar
From what I recall, they were very graphically explicit and truly deserved their NC-17 rating, so kudos on being able to take it there. Not many can.
I did feel that it was a bit rushed though. I could see Clyde developing an obsession easily since he's obviously mentally unbalanced. And yes, Salem does have a weird sense of puppy dog subservience lurking under his skin. But to jump from hating Clyde to full-blown stockholm syndrome was a bit to quick for my tastes. I would have liked to see more of that middle ground to delve into the hows and whys.
I really liked Rios in the second story, because I can totally see him feel and act that way. Protective yet awkwardly chaste and totally wanting into Salem's pants.
I have plans for writing more, but I'm currently active in Final Fantasy 8 and Left 4 Dead fandoms, have three fic ideas to write for [Prototype] and three fic ideas for Army of Two. It comes down to what I'm currently inspired to write.
yep I agree, I had to even make an author's note about that "rushed" feel in the second story, though it was sequel ;) thank you for the feedback!! It was really tough actually putting them in a relationship in both fics so I tried to keep it rocky and twisted. OMG L4D! Prototype!! yay can't wait!! Let me know when k??

Though this convo has stirred the AoT pot.
