They have a cool gaslight downtown area. There's also a trolley that can take you from the Padres Stadium all the way to Mexico. I strongly recommend you go to Tijuanna, if only for the experiance. (bring me back some Spanish Fly!) You've been to China, so I can't imagine Mexico would be any worse.

Also, call up my sister. She's locate you to the nearest bar with drunken ex sorrority girls. Plus I think she's a fan of that Real World and probably actually knows where that shit is too.
