It would be helpful if fortune cookies provided some sort of time frame with their predictions. "You will be awarded a great honor" is too open-ended. How do I know when an honor is "great", and thus using up my predicted accolade, or merely "pretty good", which would mean I still have the "great" honor to look forward to.
