I have now been all over the city of detroit. neighborhoods off of woodward are generally boring. now neighborhoods off of gratiot and 7 mile...

I plan on posting a gallery with comments on certain shots. like how in one shot on there, there is a totally burned out house with a satellite dish. I see this all the time - houses that look barely livable (tarp for a roof, half the windows boarded up, porch falling off) with satellite dishes. it mystifies me. I understand the "everyone needs an escape" argument, but come on. everyone needs food and shelter, tv can wait.

mite be a case where their house was torched and they had the dish prior and they are just trying to live. i know that's not always the case. but in woodbridge i have seen homes that were burnt in the last few years.

oh, I mean like rundown houses that have not been torched and have obviously not been maintained for years yet they have a satellite dish. the picture in the slideshow happens to be of a toched one.

That was awesome!! One of those buildings' looked like the one we shot the Soledad Brother's video in. Very cool!

hahaha, yeah. I always confuse those. california has del mar.
