I need to stop being an asshole around the police!!!!!Last night I almost got caught again...in fact, it was pure luck that I wasn't arrested. I was at the Great Lawn at like 2:15 smoking a bowl when a police car pulled up from around the corner and stopped. They knew I was smoking. It was obvious. LUCKILY, all the cops said was "the park is closed

80s-90s music was GREAT, I agree, but we didn't make a difference in the world except to wrack up hitherto unknown amounts of student loan and credit card debt :)

i hate to say it cause i know you what you mean too, but in so many ways, we are so fucking lucky to be young at this time; i mean yeah i miss limelight as much as the asian guy in the taxi new years but still, like we are just getting going as postmodernity is popping. i fucking love the future and as much as i love you for your nostalgia, its sorta pointless, which you know. and i know you know. but if you really want that quintessential gen x experience come back to earlham and spend a while here. the grunge hasnt passed, its like everyones frozen in time. and re: making a difference, thats timeless. and its so easy to cannonize the past esp. when its the romantic "other"
