My first week in Flateyri

I have now officially moved to Flateyri.

For those of you tuning in to my blog for the first time, Flateyri is a small village with a population of 170 people. It's located the mountains in the west of Iceland and I will be spending a year there in a "school" that takes us on adventures such as rock climbing, ice climbing, sailing, hiking and so on

It was quite exciting, and I got a little nervous. I have a great love for adrenaline adventures, and I knew my directions the whole way, so all went well.

Your new adventure sounds so exciting! I like that you arrived early to spend time with and to get to know your classmates!

I don’t like being cooped up inside for too long either. That hike looks beautiful and I’m glad you made it down safely, in the dark!
