The situation here is a nightmare. Missiles flying all over the place, killing people on both sides of the border, but mostly on the other side of the border.  Not for lack of motivation on the other side of the border to kill, just our weapons are so much better

Even though my feelings on what is going on are vastly different from yours, I can't believe they would arrest people for peaceful protest that doesn't even block day to day activity. I mean, I can believe it, but I can't believe it. That makes sense, right? *scratches head* I'm glad you were able to get your friend out and that the judge has more sense than the attorney. What a friggin mess.

And from what I hear there are no political parties in Israel anymore who are positioned on any sort of anti-war peace-process platform?

there are a few political parties, but they do not have much power.

Oh, honey, god bless you for protesting. The whole thing is horrible. I can't believe there isn't more support inside Israel for peaceful solutions.

i am so glad that there are people like you!!!!
this war is not the solution - it will just bring more killing! i went yesterday to the protest here in new york, but again we don't have missiles flying around above our heads.....
